OCC Slates 31st Annual Senior Day on March 11

Orange Coast College will host its 31st annual High School Senior Day on Tuesday, March 11, in the campus quad. More than 4,000 Orange County high school seniors are expected to attend. Activities will run from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Admission and parking are free.

Every high school senior in attendance will receive early registration materials for fall 2014 classes. Counseling, orientation and financial aid materials will be available.

Students will also receive Information about OCC’s transfer program and occupational programs. They will also have an opportunity to tour campus facilities.

Preview sessions will be held in the Robert B. Moore Theatre throughout the day. Each senior attending a presentation will receive an OCC T-shirt. The event also includes a barbecue lunch. OCC student clubs and organizations will offer demonstrations and will sponsor food booths, and musical entertainment will be provided.

SOAR placement tests for English and mathematics will be administered from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. for interested students. Students who plan to take the test should meet at the entrance of Watson Hall at 1:45 p.m. No advance registration is necessary, but photo identification is required.
