“Test Taking Secrets for Jobs and School,” a three-hour workshop offered on Saturday, March 22, by OCC Community Education, will give test-takers tips to improve their results on tests and exams, whether they are for employment, college entrance exams or job promotions.

The class will meet from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in Social Science Room 109. Registration is $49, plus $30 for materials at class. Sign up online at orangecoastcollege.augusoft.net or call (714) 432-5154. Registration can also be completed at the OCC Bursar’s Office at (714) 432-5880, x1.

“Those who test well excel in school, get better jobs quicker and get promoted faster,” said Curtis Adney, JD., MS, the presenter. Adney graduated at the top of his college class with a 4.0 GPA after almost flunking out of high school. He went on to get a Juris Doctor degree from Brigham Young University.

Adney has helped thousands of students achieve dramatic academic transformations by sharing his success secrets in seminars across the Western United States. His methods help students prevent test anxiety, increase their focus and concentration, and reason their way to the right answers. Participants will discover the three biggest mistakes test-takers make — and how to correct them.
