OCC HUMAN DEVELOPMENT COURSE EXPLORES LIFE FROM WOMB TO TOMB
Tuesday, December 02, 2003

A three-unit course that explores human development from womb to tomb will be offered at Orange Coast College this spring.

Spring semester classes begin on Monday, Feb. 2.

Titled "The Child, Family and Community," and listed as Human Development 190 in OCC's schedule, three sections of the course are slated. One section meets Tuesday afternoons, from 1-4:10 p.m.; a second is set for Thursdays, from 9:50 a.m. to 1 p.m.; and the third meets Wednesday evenings, from 6:30-9:40 p.m.

The class is both fun and informative. It looks at the racial, cultural, social and economic factors that impact human families.

The course is fully transferrable to the University of California and California State University systems.

Spring registration is under way, and registration appointments are available in OCC's Admissions Office. The office is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

OCC's spring enrollment fees are $18 per unit. The spring schedule is listed on the college's Internet web page (orangecoastcollege.com). The printed schedule is available in the Admissions Office.

For spring registration information, phone (714) 432-5072.
