OCC SPRING COURSE EXAMINES GOVERNMENT

A three-unit political science course that provides an introduction to the principles and problems of government will be offered this spring by Orange Coast College's Social and Behavioral Sciences Division.

Spring semester classes begin on Monday, Jan. 30.

Listed as Political Science 180 in OCC's schedule, 21 sections of the course are slated. They meet mornings, afternoons, evenings, on Saturdays, and on Sundays. Two honors sections of the course are available.

The class places particular emphasis on the American political system at all levels. It is fully transferable to the University of California and California State University systems.

Spring registration is under way, and registration appointments are available in OCC's Admissions Office. The office is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to

6:30 p.m., and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

OCC's spring enrollment fees are $26 per unit. The spring schedule is listed on

the college's Internet web page (orangecoastcollege.edu). The printed schedule is

available in the Admissions Office.
