A three-unit beginning computer aided drafting course for architectural, electronic and mechanical drafters will be offered this spring by Orange Coast College's Technology Division.

Spring semester classes begin on Monday, Jan. 30.

Titled "Basic Computer Aided Design and Drafting," and listed as Drafting 150AB in OCC's schedule, four sections of the course are slated. They meet mornings, afternoons and evenings. One section is offered online.

Students enrolled in the class will use an IBM-compatible computer with Autocad software to develop two-dimensional "computer-drawn" drawings. The course is fully transferable to the University of California and California State University systems.

Spring registration is under way, and registration appointments are available in OCC's Admissions Office. The office is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to

6:30 p.m., and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

OCC's spring enrollment fees are $26 per unit. The spring schedule is listed on
