A fascinating three-unit course that provides a review of cinema history will be offered this spring by Orange Coast College's Film/Video Department.

Spring semester classes begin on Monday, Jan. 29.

Listed as Film/Video 100 in OCC's schedule, five sections of the course are slated. They meet afternoons. One is an online section.

Students will view landmark films, and will focus their attention on important directors and actors, as well as on technical work. The course is fully transferable to the University of California and California State University systems.

Spring registration is under way, and registration appointments are available in OCC's Enrollment Center in Watson Hall. The office is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

OCC's spring enrollment fees are $20 per unit. The spring schedule is listed on the college's Internet web page ( The printed schedule is available in the Admissions Office.
