More than a dozen classes will be offered this spring by Orange Coast College's Interior Design Program.
Spring semester classes begin on Monday, Feb. 2.
Developed by educators and professional interior designers, OCC's program presents an interdisciplinary approach to fundamental design, space planning, design analysis and materials selection, and specifications relating to residential and commercial spaces. It offers a certificate as well as an associate in arts degree.
OCC's spring semester Interior Design schedule includes: "Fundamentals of Interior Design," "Interior Design Studio 1," "Interior Design Careers," "Interior Materials and Products," "Applied Color and Design Theory," "History of Interior Architecture and Furnishings 2," "Interior Design Studio 2," "Business and Professional Practice," "Interior Design Internship" and "Codes and Specifications."
The courses are all fully transferable to the California State University system.
Spring registration is under way, and registration appointments are available in OCC's Admissions Office. The office is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
OCC's spring enrollment fees are $18 per unit. The spring schedule is listed on the college's Internet web page (orangecoastcollege.com). The printed schedule is available in the Admissions Office.
