OCC Advises Students to Register Early Demand Is High for January Intersession Classes

Students planning to enroll in any of the 29 Winter Intersession courses offered at Orange Coast College this January should register by Monday, Dec. 15.

"Demand is really high," said Kristin Clark, dean of Enrollment Services. The admissions process takes approximately five business days, and no applications will be processed from Dec. 20 through Jan. 4 when the college closes for winter break.

Registration is also underway for OCC's spring semester that begins on Jan. 31. Clark advises prospective students to sign up by Jan. 21st. "The bottom line is apply as early as you can," she said.
OCC's enrollment center, located in Watson Hall, will be open weekdays from Jan. 5 through Jan. 30 for spring registration. Office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Friday. The office will be closed on Monday, Jan. 19th, for the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.

The enrollment center will be open Monday through Friday, Dec. 14-19, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. For admissions information, call (714) 432-5072.
