Nearly 2,300 spring semester classes in more than 200 academic and vocational disciplines will get under way on Monday, Feb. 3, at Orange Coast College.
The semester concludes on May 30.
With 29,000 students enrolled this fall, OCC is one of the nation's largest single-campus community colleges. Orange Coast ranked number one last year out of California's 108 community colleges in the number of students it transferred to the California State University system. It was number two in the state in transfers to the CSU and University of California systems, combined.
OCC will conclude its fall semester Sunday (Dec. 15). All campus offices will be closed for the holidays, Dec. 19 through Jan. 1. OCC's Admissions Office will reopen on Thursday, Jan. 2.
Touch-tone telephone registration for spring classes was conducted in November and December, and will resume Jan. 2-30. In-person registration will be conducted Feb. 3 13. Tuition is just $11 per unit.
Spring class schedules are available, free of charge, in the Admissions Office. The spring schedule is also listed on the college's Internet web page (orangecoastcollege.com).
