OCC OFFERS SPRING FREEHAND DRAWING COURSE

A three-unit freehand drawing course will be offered this spring by Orange Coast College's Visual and Performing Arts Division.

Spring semester classes begin on Monday, Jan. 30.

Listed as Art 120 in OCC's schedule, five sections of the course are slated. They meet mornings, afternoons and evenings. One section is an honors section.

Students enrolled in the course will draw natural and artificial forms from observation using a variety of media on paper. The class is transferable to the University of California and California State University systems.

Spring registration is under way, and registration appointments are available in OCC's Admissions Office. The office is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to

6:30 p.m., and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

OCC's spring enrollment fees are $26 per unit. The spring schedule is listed on

the college's Internet web page (orangecoastcollege.edu). The printed schedule is

available in the Admissions Office.
