A three-unit course that explores the history of Mexico, from the Pre-Columbian period to the present, will be offered this spring by Orange Coast College's History Department.
Spring semester classes begin on Monday, Jan. 30.
Listed as History 145 in OCC's schedule, the course meets Monday evenings, from 6:30-9:40 p.m. It examines the social, political, economic and cultural growth of the Mexican nation. Emphasis is on Indian, Spanish and European contributions.
The course is fully transferable to the University of California and California State University systems.
Spring registration is under way, and registration appointments are available in OCC's Admissions Office. The office is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to
6:30 p.m., and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
OCC's spring enrollment fees are $26 per unit. The spring schedule is listed on
