Tuesday, December 17, 2002

Orange Coast College's campus is closed for the holidays through Wednesday, Jan. 1, and registration for spring semester classes by touch-tone telephone resumes Jan. 2-30.

Spring semester classes begin on Monday, Feb. 3.

OCC's Admissions Office will reopen on Thursday, Jan. 2, and persons may submit applications for spring classes at that time.

Registration for spring classes by touch-tone telephone will run Jan. 2-30. In-person registration for spring courses will be conducted Feb. 3-13 in OCC's Admissions Office. The office will be open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Spring applications are being accepted -- and registration appointments are available -- in OCC's Admissions Office. The office is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Though nearly 17,000 students have already signed up for OCC's spring semester, more than 50 percent of the 2,255 course sections remain open. Final spring 2003 enrollment figures are expected to top 27,000, making OCC one of America's largest single-campus community colleges.

For spring application or registration information, phone (714) 432-5072.
