OCC'S SCHOOL OF SAILING AND SEAMANSHIP SETS FEBRUARY AND MARCH LIDOS CLASSES
Tuesday, December 17, 2002

Orange Coast College's School of Sailing and Seamanship has scheduled a pair of non-credit intermediate Lidos sailing classes during the months of February and March.

Intermediate Lidos should be taken following completion of a beginning sailing class. The Lidos class is a primer for OCC's introduction to shields classes.

One five-week Lidos class meets Saturday afternoons, Feb. 8, 22, March 1, 8 and 15, from 1:30-5 p.m. at OCC's Sailing Center in Newport Beach. A second class meets Sundays, Feb. 9, 23, March 2, 9 and 16, during the same hours.

Registration fee is $105. Visa and MasterCard holders may register by phone.

OCC's Sailing Center is located at 1801 W. Pacific Coast Highway, between the Balboa Bay Club and Orange County Sea Scout Base.

The Lidos course reviews basic skills before moving on to refining helm work and sail trim. For information about OCC's sailing classes, phone (949) 645-9412.
