A four-unit course that teaches students entry-level skills for installing residential plumbing systems will be offered this spring by Orange Coast College's Construction Technology Department.
Spring semester classes begin on Monday, Jan. 29.
Listed as Construction Technology 266 in OCC's schedule, the course meets Tuesday and Thursday evenings, from 6:45-10 p.m.
The class will teach students how to install plumbing; repair and service plumbing systems; and install solar, spa/pool and sprinkler systems in a single-family dwelling. The course is fully transferable to the California State University system.
Spring registration is under way, and registration appointments are available in
OCC's Enrollment Center in Watson Hall. The office is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
OCC's spring enrollment fees are $20 per unit. The spring schedule is listed on the college's Internet web page (orangecoastcollege.edu). The printed schedule is available in the Admissions Office.
