OCC’S SCHOOL OF SAILING AND SEAMANSHIP OFFERS KNOTTING WORKSHOP

"Knotting Made Easy" is the title of a two-hour workshop being offered on Wednesday evening, Jan. 10, by Orange Coast College's School of Sailing and Seamanship.

The session meets from 7-9 p.m. at OCC's Sailing Center in Newport Beach. Registration fee is $35.

The course covers basic structures and knots for everyday use outdoors and indoors. It will focus on 10 knots that can be used in a multitude of applications. Participants must bring two lengths of 48-inch line, one thick and one thin.

OCC's Sailing Center is located at 1801 W. Pacific Coast Highway in Newport Beach, between the Balboa Bay Club and the Orange County Sea Scout Base.
