OCC SEEKS VOLUNTEERS FOR TET FESTIVAL BOOTH
Thursday, January 30, 2014

OCC has been provided the opportunity to have a booth at the Tet Festival at the Orange County Fairgrounds on the weekend of Friday through Sunday, February 7-9. The Festival is the largest Vietnamese Community Event in Orange County. This year marks it first year at the OCC Fairgrounds after being in Garden Grove for many years.

The campus needs volunteers (faculty, staff and managers) to staff the booth in four-hour shifts (Vietnamese speaking volunteers would be especially appreciated). Everything will be supplied, including OCC brochures, small giveaways and water. Volunteers just need to arrive and be ready to let the 100,000+ visitors to the Tet Festival know about OCC. Cost for Festival entrance is $5 and tickets will be provided for all volunteers.

Below are the dates and times for each shift. Please contact Liz Parker (eparker@occ.cccd.edu) and let her know which shift you can work.
