Orange Coast College is gearing up for the 31st annual Senior Day on Tuesday, March 11, when more than 4,000 high school seniors will visit campus to learn about educational opportunities at Coast.

Senior Day is the college’s major recruiting effort during the year. Buses bring high school seniors to campus where they get a taste of campus life and gather information about enrolling at OCC.

The campus is still recruiting volunteers to help out with the event. Students, faculty, staff and retirees are all encouraged to sign up online. For the first time in several years, volunteers will receive Senior Day t-shirts especially designed for the event, which begins at 10:30 a.m. and continues until 2:00 p.m. Volunteers are needed to staff information tables, hand out T-shirts to visiting students, serve lunch, greet high school students arriving on campus, and work as ushers for presentations in the Robert B. Moore Theatre.
