Holiday shoppers will find 1,000 unique items at the Orange Coast College Mudslingers 38th Annual Holiday Ceramic Sale Friday and Saturday, Dec. 5 and Dec. 6, on campus in Art Center 113. OCC Veterans Tribute
The OC Register featured World War II veterans with connections to the Santa Ana Army Air Base in a story about OCC’s Veteran’s Day observance last week. Special guests included veterans who trained at the Santa Ana Army Air Base, where the college is now located. Veterans who attended included Retired 1st Lt. Richard Remy, 91, lived at the base in 1943 for two months, and Retired Lt. Mike Hartunian, 93, was sent to Europe to face Nazi Germany after training.
