This calendar is provided by the International and Multicultural Committee to celebrate diversity at Orange Coast College and in our community.
 
The following are celebrations of diversity for this month:

1. 1 – Feast of St. Basil (Christian, Orthodox)
2. 1 – Japanese New Year (Japan)
3. 1 – New Year's Day (United States)
4. 5 – Guru Gobind Singh's Birthday (Sikh)
5. 6 – Epiphany or Twelfth Day (Christian)
6. 6 – Three Kings' Day (Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic)
7. 7 – The Nativity of Jesus Christ (Christian, Orthodox)
8. 13 – Lohri (Buddhist, Hindu, Sikh)
9. 16 – Religious Freedom Day
10. 20 – World Religion Day (Baha'i)
11. 21 – Martin Luther King Jr.'s Birthday (United States)
12. 25 – Tu b'Shvat or Tu B'Shevat (Jewish)
13. 26 – India Republic Day

*Note: Many of the Jewish and Muslim celebrations begin at sundown.
