Orange Coast College has partnered with the RAND Corporation, a non-profit research organization based in Santa Monica, and the California Mental Health Services Authority (CalMHSA) to conduct a survey to learn more about faculty and staff experiences and attitudes related to student mental health and well-being, perceptions of how campuses are serving students’ mental health needs, and perceptions of overall campus climate toward student mental health and well-being.

Faculty and staff are encouraged to participate in an anonymous and confidential survey so that your thoughts and opinions can be heard. The survey should take you approximately 5 minutes to complete. As appreciation for your participation and time spent filling out the survey, participants will have the opportunity to enter their email address in a lottery for $1000. Participation in the survey is voluntary and confidential, and you can withdraw at any point.

Follow this link for more information about the survey and your participation.

If you have any technical problems completing this survey, please email Your email will go to the RAND Survey Research Group. They will make every effort to respond to your questions within 24 hours.

“On behalf of OCC and the CCC Foundation Mental Health Grant, we thank you for your participation in this project,” said Sylvia Worden, director of OCC Student Health Services.
