Student Parking Permit Procedures

​​Student parking permits are only available for purchase online at MyOCC.  Non-students can purchase a student parking permit at the OCC Bursar's Office, NOT at the Campus Public Safety Office. 


To purchase an OCC student parking permit using a credit or debit card:


Log in to MyOCC and select "Purchase an OCC Parking Decal."  Complete the online form and use your credit or debit card to pay the permit fee.  Fall and spring semester student parking permits are $30.00 per semester.  Summer session student parking permits are $15.00.  After purchasing the student parking permit, you will receive an e-mail confirmation receipt and a Temporary Permit.  Print out the Temporary Permit attachment to use while the student permit is being processed.  The Temporary Permit is valid until the Temporary Permit expiration date.  The parking permit will be mailed the next business day and you should receive the permit within 5-7 days.

You must personally appear at the OCC Campus Public Safety Department within twenty-one (21) days from the ordered date if you did not receive your parking permit in the mail.  A replacement parking permit will not be issued after twenty-one (21) days from the ordered date.

To purchase an OCC student parking permit using check:

Select the same link as above and complete the online form.  Go to the 1st floor of the Watson Hall Enrollment Center with your Order Number and pay at the Registration Window.  After purchasing the student parking permit, you will receive an e-mail confirmation receipt and a Temporary Permit.  Print out the Temporary Permit attachment to use while the student permit is being processed.  The Temporary Permit is valid until the Temporary Permit expiration date.  The parking permit will be mailed the next business day and you should receive the permit within 5-7 days.

Note: Parking permits are required to park in all non-metered student parking areas at Orange Coast College
