Additional Job/Internship Websites

  • Google Jobs feature allows you to insert the type of job or internship you are seeking and where (e.g. Software Engineering Internship in Costa Mesa, CA). In the search result, click on the blue area that says “Jobs,” which will open up the Google Jobs feature. This feature pulls positions from various job board sites, including relevant company websites.
  • Indeed is the #1 job site in the world with 9.8 jobs added each second and the ability to upload your resume, read company reviews and get job search advice.
  • LinkedIn Jobs: Did you know that 64% of job seekers get hired through a referral? Use LinkedIn to boost your chances of getting hired through people you know while conducting a customized job search based on your profile, skills, and interests.
  • Idealist connects millions of idealists – people who want to do good – with opportunities for action and collaboration all over the world, including jobs, internships and volunteering.
  • StartUp Jobs: Help shape the future by joining one of the fastest growing technology startups.
  • B Work connects purpose-driven jobseekers with positions at social enterprises who are using business as a force for good.
  • USAJOBS is the official website of the United States government. This link will take you to a page intended for current college students and recent graduates, who may be eligible for federal internships and job opportunities.
  • Upwork is the largest global freelancing website where millions of jobs are posted annually. Businesses get more done, connecting freelancers to work on projects from web and mobile app development to SEO, social media marketing, content writing, graphic design, admin help, and thousands of other projects.

Volunteer Websites

  • VolunteerMatch is the largest network in the nonprofit world connecting volunteers to nonprofits across a variety of causes such as advocacy and human rights, animals, arts and culture, health and medicine, and much more.
  • WorkAway is a site for promoting fair exchange, volunteering and work opportunities between budget travelers, language learners or culture seekers who can stay with families, individuals or organizations that are looking for help with a range of varied and interesting activities.
  • Idealist connects millions of idealists – people who want to do good – with opportunities for action and collaboration all over the world, including jobs, internships and volunteering.
  • AmeriCorps is a voluntary civil society program that engages adults in public service work with the goal of “helping others and meeting critical needs in the community.”
  • Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization that helps people in your community and around the world build or improve a place they can call home.
  • Boys and Girls Clubs of America enables all young people to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
