OCC's music industry programs are designed to give the serious music student the theory, applied training and performing experience needed for success in the field they choose. Traditional music courses are integrated with music-industry courses to provide a comprehensive program.

This certificate prepares students for employment in music stores, record shops and other commercial music activities. Many opportunities in the business of music are available to students with broad general knowledge of how this segment of the music industry functions in addition to traditional musical skills.
