Radiologic Technology (Diagnostic)

​​​​Radiologic technology is a rapidly expanding allied health profession, with demand expected to grow as the population ages and technology advances. The radiologic technologist prepares demonstrations of human anatomy on an x-ray film or fluoroscopic screen for diagnostic use by a radiologist or other medical specialist. Graduates of Orange Coast College's radiologic technology program are eligible to take the exam offered by the American Registry of Radiologist Technologists. OCC's program also is accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology and approved by the California Department of Public Health.

Radiologic Technology ​

This program is a full-time program that takes approximately two years and one summer session to complete. Upon completion graduates will have garnered approximately 1,850 clinical hours and will be prepared for careers a radiologic technologists.​
