Join Orange Coast College Dance Departmentstudents for a 30-minute improvisational dance inside The Doyle’s main galleryinspired byStargazers and OCC’s new planetarium. Directed by OCC dance faculty member, Shana Menaker with accompanying, live music by Jorgos Adamis.

OCC Chamber Singers Explore the Universe with Music 
@ The Doyle


Wednesday, March 13, Noon. Free admission.
 
Join the Orange Coast College Chamber Singersfor a noon-time concert @ The Doyle, inspired byStargazers and OCC’s new planetarium, presenting music by composers exploring the smallness of human existence within the universe’s seeming boundlessness, such as Robert Schumann, Meredith Monk, Eric Whitacre, Eriks Esenvalds, and more. The OCC Chamber Singers, a select 40-voice ensemble directed by Eliza Rubenstein, is the campus’ most accomplished chorus.

Night Sky Poetry by OCC Students, Faculty, & Staff @ The Doyle

Inspired by Stargazers and OCC’s new planetarium, join us for a noon time reading of original poetry by OCC students, faculty, staff who contemplate the beauty, harmony, and chaos of the cosmos. Organized by OCC art department faculty Kim Garrison and Steve Radosevich, who have a major installation in Stargazers under the artist collective name, United Catalysts
