The Friends of the Orange Coast College Library is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to intensify community awareness and use of the library, to sponsor programs designed to add to the cultural life of the community, to aid in public relations by communicating needs of the community to the library, to raise funds for enhancing the library collection, and to encourage gifts, endowments, and memorials for the library. The Friends have programs, book sales, and other activities throughout the year. FOTL also funds annual student scholarships.

Donations of books and media items are gratefully accepted at the OCC library reference desk or in the library bookstore donation bins. We also have an outside donation bin located in the corner of parking lot E behind the library. Another FOTL bin is located next to the campus bookstore near Watson Hall. A tax receipt is available on request at the library reference desk at the time of donation. We also accept monetary donations of cash or check, as well as online donations through the button on the right. Please call (714) 432-0202 x21058 for more information.

Library Bookstore

The Friends of the Library has a bookstore in the lobby of the OCC library. The store is open during regular library hours. The store is stocked with many of the donations we receive. Prices vary from $.25 to $2.00 depending on the type and age of the item being sold. A full list of the prices are available in the store.
