OCC Study Abroad Scholarship

Up to $10,000 is available for study abroad scholarships. Students may apply after they have completed an application for the OCC study abroad program of their choice. The application and essay must be received by Friday March 16, 2018. Download application form.


Gilman Scholarship

The Benjamin Gilman International Scholarship offers up to $5,000 towards study abroad programs for Pell Grant eligible students.


CCIE Scholarship to Korea Soonchunhyang University

For over 10 years, CCIE has worked in collaboration with Soonchunhyang University in Korea to provide full-scholarships for students to study for a semester in Korea. For Fall semester, 2017, 3 scholarships were awarded. The application deadline for the Spring 2018 semester will be DUE May 11 2018 The scholarship includes the following: ∙ Tuition (3,794,000 KRW/semester) Global Village dorm fees (755,000 KRW/semester) The Scholarship does not include ∙ Airfare ∙ Meals, books or daily expenses

Students take courses in Korean Language; Korean Cultural Experience and Heritage; Social & Cultural History of Korea; Korean/American Relations; Korean Political Economy; Korean Business and Economics; Understanding Korean Education; Comparative Family Systems. In addition, students will spend 15 hours per week in the “cultural and language ambassador” program in which they converse with Korean students studying at Soonchunhyang University and share cultural information. Academic credits offered by Soonchunhyang University, which is a fully accredited university. Boren Scholarship

Boren Scholarships, an initiative of the National Security Education Program, provide unique funding opportunities for U.S. undergraduate students to study less commonly taught languages in world regions critical to U.S. interests, and underrepresented in study abroad, including Africa, Asia, Central and Eastern Europe, Eurasia, Latin America, and the Middle East.
