Learn the fundamentals of the graceful, unique, and gratifying sport of rowing. For young adults and up (minimum 16 years old), for beginners with no experience to those who want a refresher course to sharpen their skills. The classes will be taught by Orange Coast College Women’s Rowing Head Coach Laura Behr, Coaching Assistants, and Current Team Members who bring expertise, energy, and enthusiasm. With a rowing career spanning 10 years, Laura is a former Exercise Physiologist at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, CA, and has been coaching successful teams in Southern California ever since! Laura holds a BA degree in Movement and Sports Science, with a minor in Physical Therapy from Purdue University and MS degree from UW-Lacrosse in Cardiac Rehab and Exercise Science.

Total Cost: $75 per 2hr period or flat fee of $250 for four sessions (A non-refundable deposit of $75 is required by July 25th to save a spot.) The balance is due at the first class of the session. Make checks payable to Orange Coast College Women’s Crew. *Please note time changes from previous posting.
