Student Email (Gmail) Account

Setup your CCCD Student G-mail account, which is the official form of communication with you during the course of your studies at Orange Coast College. (Home Tab>G-mail)

Your Coast District student email address is (your MyCoast portal username)

​​​​​Text Notifications:

The college is now sending out text notifications for the following communications:

  • ​​​DFNP- Drop for Non-P​ayment Courtesy Emails

  • When Registration Appointments assigned for the upcoming semester

  • Financial Aid Notifications (date to be determined)

  • Counseling Appointments

  • Waitlist Notifications (See example below)

You may opt out of receiving text communications by logging into MyCoast portal ⇒​​ clicking on Banner Self-Service ​​⇒​ Update Personal Information and uncheck the text box next to the phone number.
