If you are a High School senior and plan on attending OCC, then you need to apply for the Summer/Fall term as a First Time College Student.

Contact your High School counselor to see if your school participates in the Freshman Priority Program
If you need financial assistance, apply for financial aid at the time of the application (you’ll be given an opportunity to apply via the FAFSA website at the end of this application.)
All graduating high school seniors must apply for admission as a first time college student in order to take classes at OCC.
If you are a High School senior that is participating in the
Early Start Program and plan on attending OCC as a college student, then you need to apply for the Summer/Fall term as a First Time College Student. See the information above.

How Will I know when I am Accepted? Once you submit your online application, you will immediately receive an email confirming receipt of your application. The email will be sent to the email address you supplied on your application. Approximately 3-5 business days later you will receive a follow up email, which will provide information on accessing MyOCC, registering for classes and priority registration. Please read all the information in the emails you receive.

Verify Your Email Please verify that the email address you provide is correct so that you receive confirmation that your application has been submitted.
Spam Filters Some Internet Service Providers filter email from Orange Coast College as junk/spam. Please check your trash/junk/spam folder if you don't receive an email response within one week of submitting your application. You can avoid this by adding
occadmissions@occ.cccd.edu to your Approved Senders list. This is especially important if you use providers such as AOL, Yahoo, EarthLink, MSN, Hotmail, Gmail or Roadrunner and/or you use spam filters. |
