Orange Coast College is pleased to bring back the "It's Your Estate" workshop series for the Fall 2017 semester. The first workshop of the award-winning series will take place on Friday, Sept. 22 from 10–11:30 a.m. in the College's Student Center classroom, and will include a personal assessment.
The weekly workshops are offered to community members free of charge and include valuable information on topics such as "Long Term Care" and "Equity Investing."
OCC's "It's Your Estate" seminar series will be presented by Peter Kote, who started the series when he was employed by Cal State Long Beach in the 1990s. Kote's goal is to avoid the predatory sales practices of the financial service industry that are often part of these types of events. Attendee names will not be given or sold to the presenters or anyone else.
Each session will cover a different topic, and all sessions will take place in the OCC Student Center Classroom:
Friday, Sept. 22 — 10-11:30 a.m., Introduction and Quiz
