Eclectic Café is serving several sumptuous dishes on Friday, Oct. 6.
For their appetizer diners can choose between Italian antipasto with salami, mozzarella, pepperoncini with romaine lettuce and creamy garlic dressing or a medley of fall greens with sundried tomato vinaigrette, Kalamata olives, tomato concasseé and shaved red onion.
Entrée selections include: veal blanquette with house-made egg noodles and vegetables; steak marsala with roasted potatoes and vegetables; and poached lobster with champagne sauce, turmeric tarragon risotto and grilled vegetables.
Dessert is tiramisu cake with crème anglaise.
The Eclectic Café is open in the Student Center Cafeteria from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Fridays. Lunch is $8.50. Call (714) 432-5876 ext. 22 to make a lunch reservation or order a take-out lunch. Take-out orders, at a cost of $9.50, are available until 12:30 p.m. Reservations and pre-orders are suggested.
