Eclectic Café is dishing out an assortment of tasty dishes on Friday, Sept. 29.
For their appetizer diners can choose between bacon-wrapped shrimp with basil and garlic sauce, or a hummus trio of pesto, jalapeno and sundried tomato hummus served with fresh pita chips.
Entrée selections include: fried catfish with black bean sauce and roasted potatoes; Buhna curried calves liver with roasted potatoes and rapine; and eggplant and feta flat bread pizza with fall greens and balsamic syrup.
Dessert is a peach cobbler with vanilla bean ice cream.
The Eclectic Café is open in the Student Center Cafeteria from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Fridays. Lunch is $8.50. Call (714) 432-5876 ext. 22 to make a lunch reservation or order a take-out lunch. Take-out orders, at a cost of $9.50, are available until 12:30 p.m. Reservations and pre-orders are suggested.
