Become an OCC Student

Take the Next Step

    To establish California residency for tuition purposes, you must:
    1. Be eligible to be a California resident
    2. Submit evidence of one year of physical residence in the state of California
    3. Submit evidence of intent to remain in California.
    4. Submit evidence of financial independence when seeking re-classification from nonresident status to resident status.

    Note: The Enrollment Center at Orange Coast College reserves the right to request additional information in its efforts to determine California Residency for tuition purposes.

    OCC offers students a vibrant student life. The Associated Students of Orange Coast College (ASOCC) offers students the opportunity to be fully engaged at OCC via student clubs and student government. There are more than 60 student clubs that students can join and various student government branches they can be a part of, along with 16 Honor Societies in various disciplines that a student can join.
