Out-of-State Students

OCC is a destination school for many out-of-state students. Out-of-state students are encouraged to contact the outreach office to schedule a campus tour and to learn about the process of applying to OCC.

Graduating high school seniors who are out-of-state students can participates in OCC's Freshman Priority Registration (FPR) program. FPR gives any student the opportunity to register early for the upcoming fall semester.

Students who participate in FPR need to:

  1. Complete an online fall application
  2. Complete an online orientation
  3. Speak to an OCC counselor to create a Student Education Plan

Students who complete steps 1 thru 3 will be given the opportunity to register early for the upcoming fall semester. We understand that completing all these steps can be challenging to out-of-state students and that is why we have created SEP Saturday's so that out-of-state students can complete steps 2 & 3 all in one day! For more information please visit the FPR website at www.orangecoastcollege.edu/fpr.
