Out-of-State Students

OCC is a destination school for many out-of-state students. Out-of-state students are encouraged to contact the outreach office to schedule a campus tour and to learn about the process of applying to OCC.

Graduating high school seniors who are out-of-state students can participate in OCC's Freshman Priority Registration (FPR) program. FPR gives any student the opportunity to register early for the upcoming  semester.

Students who participate in FPR need to:

  1. Complete an online fall application
  2. Complete an online orientation
  3. Speak to an OCC counselor to create a Student Education Plan

Students who complete steps 1 thru 3 will be given the opportunity to register early for the upcoming  semester. Out-of-state students can recieve an SEP over the phone but you need to contact the OCC counseling center, identify yourself as an out-of-state student and mention that you want to complete a phone SEP and the counseling center will then schedule an appointment for you. For more information please visit the FPR website
