MDR’s mission is to assist pre-health students to be aware of resources such as conferences, volunteer projects, and internships which will expose them to opportunities of benefit. In addition, MDR will promote scholarship, the development of leadership through elected and appointed positions, and the cultivation of fellowship among qualified students interested in future careers in the field of healthcare and closely related studies.
Our club's goal is to provide guidance to students that are on their journey to transferring to a 4-year institution.
Psi Beta Honor Society
Psi Beta, the National Honor Society in Psychology for Community College Students, is a nationally recognized academic honor society. The mission of Psi Beta is to encourage professional development, excellence in scholarship, leadership skills, and participation in research and community service. If interested in Psi Beta, you will be joining a nationally recognized academic honor society, furthering your interest in psychology, and contributing to the community at large.
Speech and Debate Club
Our club helps students enhance their public speaking skills for competition at tournaments as well as for everyday life events.
STEM Club (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
The STEM Club's goal is to provide students with hands-on experience via student-led projects that will make them become more competitive when transferring to a four-year university and/or applying to an internship or a job.
Student Government (SGOCC)
Student government is composed of the Student Senate, the Executive Board, Fiscal Affairs Council, Inter-Club Council, the Advocacy Committee, College Life Committee, Volunteer Team, and the Orange and Blue Spirit Crew.
Vietnamese Catholic Student Association
The Vietnamese Catholic Student Association was founded in 1998 by the Vietnamese Clergy Committee, Diocese of Orange. Embracing the mission to shine the World of Life, VCSA members help each other in carrying out Catholic faith, education, and charitable services. The three pillars of the VCSA family are to live out the Catholic faith, to excel in school, and to embrace charitable services. All members know that VCSA depends on its members to carry out these three pillars to further its growth.

Career Center
The Career Center provides resources and assists students in making informed and educated decisions regarding their career goals, job search, and employment readiness. Students are able to obtain labor market information on specific careers such as current salary, educational requirements, job outlook, job and internship postings from local employers.
Disabled Student Services and Programs
The Orange Coast College Disabled Student Programs and Services (DSPS) was established in1975 to serve students with documented and/or observable disabilities. OCC's DSPS program provides support services and educational accommodations to students with disabilities so that they can have full and equitable access to the community college experience.
EOPS
Extended Opportunity Programs and Services at OCC?? is a State-funded comprehensive academic counseling program designed to provide additional support to eligible students. Our mission is to enhance each student's success by providing “over and above” services to students with economic and academic barriers to their education. Students in the EOPS program receive the following services: Academic Counseling, Textbook Services, Priority Registration, Limited School Supplies, and More!
Global Engagement Center - Study Abroad and International Student Services
The Global Engagement Center (GEC) offers services and support to all international students from abroad enrolled at OCC. We also offer advising and other services for OCC students interested in studying abroad.
Housing & Residential Education
Housing & Residential Education works in collaboration with The Harbour at OCC to offer on-campus student housing. Learn more about The Harbour, how to live on-campus, financial resources available to residents and leadership opportunities.
Peer Mentoring: Student Equity Program & Pirates' Promise Program:
The Student Equity Program and Pirates' Promise Program will be hosting an open house to students seeking a future position as a Peer Mentor. Peer Mentors serve first time college students with resources and services to ease their transition to college. Stop by and speak to current Peer Mentors on their role and learn about each programs services.
The Puente Project
The Puente Project program under the Counseling Department provides first-generation students attending college the knowledge to write sophisticated essays, apply critical thinking in reading and writing, develop personal and academic skills, and become leaders to navigate Orange Coast College for academic success, transfer to a four-year university and earn a bachelor's degree.
Scholars in Puente Project create a community of learners that build a long-life learning experience and
"familia" relationships.
Recycling Center
We're the Recycling Center! Although we're not open for business at the moment, we represent recycling and sustainability initiatives on our campus and in our community. In addition to information about our recycling center and campus sustainability, we'll be putting together ideas of how students can incorporate sustainability into their study-from-home life and other helpful information.
The Student Health Center
The Student Health Center supports the physical, emotional, and social wellbeing of students through accessible, high-quality health services and programs. Students can access medical and mental health services.
The Office of Student Relations and Title IX
The Office of Student Relations and Title IX Office supports a safe, inclusive, and nondiscriminatory educational and working environment and will provide a prompt and equitable response to any report of sexual harassment made to the Title IX Coordinator. The Office also supports the management of the service complaint process and grade grievance process.
The Transfer Center
The Transfer Center will prepare you for a four-year school! The Transfer Center provides resources and information about 4-year programs, including assistance with applications, meeting with admission representatives, hosting workshops/college fairs and transfer-focused counseling.
