CARE (Cooperative Agencies and Resources for Education)
To assist single parents in reaching their educational goals through support and financial resources as well as instilling a sense of self-esteem in its members by providing a forum for them to reach out and help others in need.
CARE Club at OCC
The CARE Club at Orange Coast College is open to all OCC students who are interested in helping single parents on campus. CARE Club organizes events and fundraisers benefiting CARE program recipients, who are single parents attending Orange Coast College. Additionally, CARE students raise funds to help other community members in need, with the goal to "pay it forward". These students work to meet all of the demands of being full time students, but also have the additional stress of working and being single parents.
