Honors Night has been a tradition for fifty years at Orange Coast College!
The evening recognizes students who have achieved top honors in academics as well as service & leadership to the college and community.
The event is usually held on the second Wednesday of May each year. It begins with a buffet in the Student Center which is prepared by the colleges award-winning Culinary Arts students. The evening continues in the Robert B. Moore Theatre.
Each year a theme is chosen and everything for the event - from decorations, to food & refreshments, centers around that theme.
Donors are invited to the annual event to present those scholarships of $500.00 or more. Students who have been selected for a scholarship of $500.00 or more are invited to the event as well.
After the event, all students who are receiving scholarships will receive a letter in the mail outlining the steps they are to follow in order to receive their funds.
