Are you ready for Fall 2014 Priority Registration?

The Counseling Office can help you complete two of the important requirements to be eligible for Priority Registration.

You need a Course of Study and a
DegreeWorks Student Education Plan (SEP)
and we'll help you get one!

option1.jpgAttend a Priority Registration Workshop

  • The workshop consists of an hour presentation and an hour open lab.  During the open lab your plan will be created.  The counselors will lock and activate your plan shortly after the workshop.

Sign-up for a workshop by coming by the Counseling Front Counter, 3rd floor Watson Hall or by calling the Counseling Appointment Line: 714.432.5078

There are no items to show in this view of the "Priority Registration Workshops" list.

option1.jpgRegister for a Counseling Class

  • We have several classes beginning throughout the Spring 2014 semester where a student will be guided through the process of creating a DegreeWorks SEP.  You can register online for any of the OPEN classes:

COUN A100: Introduction to College

option1.jpgMake an appointment to see a counselor

  • Appointments to see a counselor are made one week in advance on Thursdays, beginning at 8AM.  The appointments usually fill very quickly, so it is best to use one the following three methods first thing in the morning on Thursdays in order to book your appointment:

    1. Come to the Counseling Office - 3rd floor Watson Hall

    2. Call the Counseling Appointment Line: 714.432.5078

    3. Use our online appointment system by clicking on this link: Make an Appointment

option4.jpgDegreeWorks Walk-in

This service is similar to Resource Counseling.  You may come in person to the Counseling Center during the designated times and put your name in the queue to meet with a counselor.  Students will be served on a first come, first served basis.  During the walk-in visit, the counselor will enter your Course of Study and help you create a semester plan in DegreeWorks.

Please check with the Counseling Center for the DegreeWorks Walk-in schedule.  The schedule will change from week to week due to counselor availability and will be announced in our message on the Counseling Appointment Line: 714.432.5078.
