Tuesday - Thursday:  8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Counseling services at Orange Coast College are in place to help students identify and clarify personal, career, and educational goals.  The intent is to help students choose options that will improve the quality of their lives.  Our professionally trained counselors are available to assist you with the following:

  • Educational Planning

  • Career Exploration

  • Personal Counseling

  • Counseling Classes​

  • Support Groups

  • Re-Entry Services

  • Referral Services

  • Transfer Services

  • Study Skills & Personal Development Workshops

 

Appointments

 

Appointments may be made in person, by telephone, or online. Each Thursday morning, Counseling Services will begin scheduling appointments for students for the following week. All appointments will be scheduled for thirty minutes, unless otherwise noted.

If you choose to book an appointment online and are unable to find an appointment time, please note that intermittent cancellations and schedule changes may mean that there are still appointments available. Please call the appointment line:  (714) 432-5078. 

 

For ALLIED HEALTH PROGRAMS ONLY, please schedule through the Allied Health appointment page.

 

Drop-In Counseling

Drop-in Counseling is limited to ten minutes and is appropriate for general questions only. Students must check in for a drop-in appointment at the Counseling Services front desk on the third floor of Watson hall. All students are served on a first-come, first-served basis. Drop-in Counseling is not appropriate for transcript evaluation, Student Education Plans or personal counseling, as drop-in Counselors do not have access to your transcript or other student records.
