Counseling services at Orange Coast College are in place to help students identify and clarify personal, career and educational goals. ATTENTION STUDENTS: To be eligible for Priority Registration for Fall 2014 you must have a DegreeWorks Student Education Plan (SEP). Please click on the graphic below for further details.
Appointments may be made in person, by telephone, or online**. Thirty minute appointments are scheduled a week in advance. Each Thursday, Counseling Services begins scheduling appointments for students for the following week.
** Please note: If you are scheduling an appointment with a counselor for the first time at OCC, you will only be able to schedule in-person or by telephone.
Walk-In and Online Resource Counseling
Walk-in Counseling is available for quick questions during office hours. Students are served on a first-come, first-served basis. Walk-in Counseling is limited to ten minutes and is appropriate for general questions only. Walk-in Counseling is not appropriate for transcript evaluation, Student Education Plans or personal counseling. Walk-in Counselors do not have access to your transcript or other student records.
Online Resource Counseling is available for general questions that do not require access to your transcript or other student records.
