Extended Opportunity Program and Services
EOPS is a State funded Academic Counseling Program designed to provide additional support to eligible fulltime students. Our mission is to provide "Above and Beyond" services which assist eligible students in achieving their educational and career goals. Eligibility is determined by academic and financial need as mandated by the stat EOPS, is your key to unlocking the door to your future!

EOPS has reached capacity and we are not accepting any more applications for fall '08! We will be accepting applications for spring '09 during the month of December '08!!
Before applying for EOPS, students must have applied for the Board of Governor's Fee Waiver through the Financial Aid Office and have taken their placement tests through Matriculation. Both the Financial Aid office and Matriculation are located in Watson Hall for student convenience.
Cooperative Agencies Resources for Education (CARE)

CARE is administered by the EOPS Program and serves the unique needs of single parents who are designated as head of household. At the time students are accepted into CARE they must have, at least one child under the age of 14, be a fulltime student, and be a current recipient of CalWORKS/TANF/AFDC. All CARE students must be accepted into the EOPS Program. |
