COVID-19 Information for DSPS Students

March 24, 2020

Dear DSPS students,

Orange Coast College has closed all operations through March 30, 2020. This is out of an abundance of caution due to COVID-19.

DSPS operations including answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, DSPS Testing and the Learning Center will resume remotely on Monday 3/30/20. Upon return, all counseling appointments and the learning center will be delivered in a remote (online and/or phone) format. Counselors will begin seeing students and conducting drop-in hours remotely, on Tuesday 3/31/20. DSPS has postponed scheduling any new DSPS Counseling appointments until we return to office operations on Monday 3/30/20.

Students: Please look over your Accommodation Letter and contact your DSPS Counselor if 1) there are any accommodations you are concerned might be challenging to receive upon moving to an online format, or 2) if you have questions regarding attending online classes.

Students should consider resending their electronic Accommodation Letter to each of their faculty, and/ or reminding faculty of their request to receive accommodations in the new online format.

For questions regarding interpreting, captioning, or converting your instructional material into an alternate format, please contact

For questions regarding DSPS Testing and/or NoteSharing, please contact
