Disabled Student Programs & Services

The Orange Coast College Disabled Student Programs and Services (DSPS) was established in 1975 to serve students with documented and/or observable disabilities. OCC's DSPS program provides support services and educational accommodations to students with disabilities so that they can have full and equitable access to the community college experience.

 Programs & Services: 

  • Academic, Vocational,and Disability management counseling
  • Accommodation Coordination (i.e., ASL interpreting, note taking assistance, etc)
  • Priority Registration
  • Test Proctoring Services
  • Learning Center – Basic skills support classes
  • Alternate Media Access Program (Assistive Technology)
  • High-Tech Center
  • Adapted Kinesiology program
  • Learning Disability Diagnostic Assessment
