Greg at Dodger Stadium sitting in the Dodger dugout.
My Name is Greg Lopez; I am a part-time counselor for DSPS. I started working as a student assistant for DSPS at Golden West College during my sophomore year in college. Next I graduated from CSU Dominguez Hills with a degree in Sociology and a minor in Psychology. After graduating I got a full-time job working as a DSPS Instructional Associate where I started teaching students on how they can benefit from using Assistive Technology. I implemented new learning tools that help students enhance their Math and Reading skills. I enjoy working with students and seeing their progress throughout the semester. I knew I wanted to continue in this field and decided to earn my Masters in Educational Counseling from the University of La Verne. I have over 9 years of experience working in higher education. On my down time, I enjoy eating a Dodger dog while catching a game. I also enjoy going on hikes and going camping with friends. Please stop by and say hello.
