Hi, my name is Michael Beale and I have worked at Orange Coast College for 19 years. I started working in the Assessment Center in 2000 before moving to Disabled Student Programs and Services in 2004. Since that time, I have worked within the department as an Instructional Associate, Learning Disabilities Specialist, Instructor of Record for LRNG A001 (Basic Skills Remediation), Instructional Associate – Learning Opportunities, and Academic Counselor. I have also taught English as a second language courses for Orange Coast College’s Language and Literature Division and the Adult Education Office, as well as Santa Ana College. I graduated from Arizona State University in 1993 with a bachelor’s degree, and earned master’s degrees from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 1996, and California State University, Fullerton in 2004, respectively.
