Kinesiology & Athletics Projects

Orange Coast College has completed construction of a new Kinesiology & Athletics facility that includes swimming pools, offices, physical education rooms and training spaces, locker rooms, bleachers, support spaces and associated mechanical, electrical, fire protection, landscaping and civil work.


  • One 65-meter X 75'-1" competition long course swimming pool
  • One 25-yard X 75'-1" Instructional/Therapy pool
  • Deck Canopy shade structure – 9,250 square feet
  • One exterior storage enclosure
  • Site improvements – one 16' max high soldier pile retaining wall

Gym Annex

Orange Coast College has renovated the existing Men’s Locker Room Building, converting it into a co-ed athlete facility. The renovation included the replacement of the existing mechanical systems as well as all plumbing and electrical fixtures and finishes, and renovations to all interior spaces with reconfigured shower and restroom areas. The existing staff locker room has been expanded to provide both male and female locker room areas, and new locker room facilities are provided for female students, which include locker areas, restroom, and shower functions.
