MISSION STATEMENT
To investigate the impact of continuity and change upon human life in a sequential and cumulative manner and through a systematic application of such intellectual tools as analysis and interpretation to develop a self-educating person.
OBJECTIVES
- To offer courses that provide the academic foundation of transfer students as measured by the acceptance of those students at four-year colleges and universities.
- To continue courses that provide a general education in the unique background of different nations, cultures, ethnic groups and the state of California, as evidenced by the acceptance of these courses in meeting graduation requirements.
- To continue a program of staff development as measured by periodic peer evaluation and/or the appropriate staff development committees.
- To provide counseling information relative to advanced work in this field or for students who are having academic difficulty as measured by student evaluations.
