Veterans Resource Center (VRC)

COVID-19 Updates

It is our goal to keep our students, staff and the community as safe as possible while providing continued service during this critical time by limiting exposure to the COVID-19 virus. The Veterans Resource Center (VRC) is open Mondays & Thursdays. We are also available to students virtually starting via email and phone. You can reach us virtually via email or voicemail (714-432-0202 EXT X26188). Follow us on instagram @occ_vrc for social media updates.

If you would like to chat virtually with the Veteran Specialist, "Knock on Door" of the online Specialist. If the Specialist is not online, you may leave an offline message or schedule a meeting with them for a later time.


The new Veterans Resource Center (VRC) is located on the 2nd floor of the new Student Union building in room 203. The VRC is here provide veteran students with a place to study and connect with other student veterans and dependents. It is staffed with personnel who can assist student veterans and military connected students with referrals to various services and programs on/off campus and access to:

  • Veterans Specialist
  • Veterans Counselor (Appt will be needed)
  • On/Off Campus Resource Office (Subject to change)
  • x10 Computer stations (x8 PCs & x2 Apple Macs)
  • VRC Lounge/ Kitchenette area w/ TV
  • Study Area seating with charging areas
  • Peer Support
  • Academic Resources
  • Referrals for:
    • Transportation
    • Student Support Services
    • Employment
    • Housing
