All first-year students seeking a Student Education Plan (SEP) are asked to complete our Counseling Intake process for new college students. The form is located in Canvas, as part of our New Student Counseling online resource series.

Upon completion of the intake form, students may choose to
1) have a counselor create a first-semester education plan (you will receive an email when it is ready to view) or
2) schedule a Zoom or phone appointment with a counselor to create a first-semester plan together.
In order to ensure you have an SEP in place for priority registration status, we ask that you try to
complete your SEP by or before May 21st, 2021. After this date, you may still be accommodated, but demand for counseling is high during peak registration times and appointments fill quickly.

To obtain your first semester Student Education Plan (SEP), please join our FPR New Student Counseling page through Canvas and complete the intake form. You'll need to log-in with your Coast District credentials. See the OCC Welcome email for your OCC Student ID# and log-in information.
Please note: If you have recently completed a SEP with a counselor, you do not need to complete the intake form or meet with a counselor again. You are encouraged to join the New Student Canvas to explore the helpful resources related to your successful transition to OCC".
As you prepare for registration, please refer back to the Future Pirate Registration (FPR) page for assistance with navigating the steps to become a new Pirate.
